Boosting Math Enthusiasm: UPM and MSORSM CSR Program at Sekolah Bimbingan Jalinan Kasih

A successful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, organized by Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in collaboration with the Malaysian Society for Operations Research and Statistics (MSORSM), brought a wave of math enthusiasm to Sekolah Bimbingan Jalinan Kasih (SBJK), Kuala Lumpur, on January 26, 2024.

The MSORSM committee, comprising lecturers from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn, Universiti Teknologi Mara, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Universiti Utara Malaysia, and Universiti Malaysia Perlis, conducted an engaging “Playing with Math” session. This dynamic collaboration enriched the students’ learning experience and positively impacted their attitude toward mathematics.

The initiative not only strengthened the students’ math skills but also resonated with MSORSM’s broader commitment to community development and education. As the CSR program unfolds, MSORSM remains dedicated to supporting education and community growth.
