The Management Science/Operations Research Society of Malaysia (MSORSM) successfully organized the National Conference on Data-Driven Modelling and Machine Learning Algorithms, a one-day event held on 2 August 2025 at Swiss Garden Hotel, Melaka.
The conference was designed to bring together academics, researchers, and postgraduate students across Malaysia who are actively engaged in the advancement of data-driven technologies, statistical modelling and machine learning algorithms. It provided a platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration and professional networking among participants in mathematics, statistics and data science.
A total of 20 participants attended the conference, comprising postgraduate students and academics from the fields of mathematics, statistics and data science. The programme featured one keynote address, two plenary sessions and several contributed talks. Although modest in scale, the conference successfully achieved the objective of equipping participants with essential mathematical tools to enhance their understanding and application of data-driven modelling and machine learning techniques.
