The Management Science/Operations Research Society of Malaysia (MSORSM) is delighted to announce that Mr. Aneng HE and Ms. Tian TIAN have been awarded the IFORS Travelling Fellowship to attend the APORS Youth Forum 2025, which will be held at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, on 29 November 2025.
This prestigious fellowship, conferred by the International Federation of Operational Research Societies (IFORS), recognizes outstanding young researchers who have demonstrated excellence and promise in the field of Operations Research and Management Science (OR/MS). The award offers recipients a valuable opportunity for academic exchange and professional networking with peers and experts from across the Asia-Pacific region.
During the forum, the awardees will present their respective doctoral research.
• Mr. Aneng HE will present his work titled “A Logic-Mined, PSO-Tuned Multi-Architecture Ensemble Neural Network Framework for Student Mathematics Learning Potential Prediction in MET-Supported Classrooms.”
• Ms. Tian TIAN will share her research titled “A Hybrid AI-Driven Forecasting Framework for Hotel Occupancy: Combining Machine Learning, Managerial Insight, and Customer Feedback.”
