This year marks a significant milestone for MSORSM as the Society proudly celebrates its 40th Anniversary. Over the past four decades, MSORSM has continued to grow as a platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, professionals, and students in the field of Management Science and Operations Research. This achievement reflects the commitment, support, and contribution of our members and wider MS/OR community.
In conjunction with this special occasion, MSORSM will organise a full-day programme featuring the MSORSM Youth Forum 2026 in the morning, followed by the 34th MSORSM Annual General Meeting in the afternoon.

The MSORSM Youth Forum 2026 is introduced as the inaugural event under the newly launched Young Leaders of MSORSM Programme. The forum aims to provide a dedicated platform for young Management Science and Operations Research researchers, practitioners, and future leaders to present their ideas, share professional experiences, exchange knowledge, and build meaningful networks within the wider MS/OR community.
Through this forum, MSORSM hopes to empower the next generation of MS/OR talents and encourage greater youth participation in research, professional practice, leadership, and society development.
Time: 2.00 pm – 5.00 pm
Mode: Hybrid
The 34th MSORSM Annual General Meeting will provide members with an important opportunity to review the Society’s achievements, discuss future plans, consider official proposals, and participate in shaping the strategic direction of MSORSM.
The AGM will also include the election of the 2026–2028 MSORSM Executive Council. Members are therefore kindly reminded to ensure that their membership status is active in order to be eligible for nomination and voting.
Please note that although the AGM will be conducted in hybrid mode, only members who are physically present at the AGM may be nominated, stand as candidates, and cast votes during the election, subject to membership eligibility. This is due to the absence of an electronic voting system for online participants.
The Google Meet link for online AGM participation will be shared with registered members before 1 August 2026.
Both the MSORSM Youth Forum 2026 and the 34th MSORSM Annual General Meeting are free for active MSORSM members. However, online registration is required.
Members are also invited to submit official proposals for discussion during the AGM.
